Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi WabarakatuhHello! My name is Afdalia Datuela, majoring in English education at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo I am one of the students who took part in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka program or what we usually hear about MBKM. I myself was given the task of teaching at SMPN 1 Paguyaman, to be precise in Paguyaman District, Boalemo Regency.

There are 26 students from 5 majors assigned to teach at SMPN 1 Paguyaman.

As we all know, during the MBKM period each participant is required to make several programs that are beneficial to the school they occupy. One of the programs we are running is the English Club. The English club is a program for English Education students, in which they teach English in a relaxed manner with various types of games, but the participants still receive useful knowledge. This program has been approved by tutors and field supervisors.

While the English Club was running, I gained a lot of experience, especially when I was a speaker. I felt nervous, because it was the first time for me to become a speaker. I have to prepare materials and prepare various types of games, so that English Club participants don't feel bored and are more interested in learning English. During the English Club program, we found several students who had pretty good English skills but were rarely honed. With the English Club they can hone their English skills again. I am very happy, because I can share my knowledge with others.

Apart from the English Club, we also have programs or joint activities with other student friends such as healthy walks, morning exercises, commemorating the Prophet's birthday, commemorating PGRI day, celebrating teacher's day, class meetings and other programs that will be implemented soon.

My friends and I were very happy, because apart from sharing knowledge, we also got knowledge and experience that we didn't get in college.

In my opinion, the MBKM program is very useful, even though there have been a number of obstacles since the publication of this program.However, this is not such a big problem, because this program has many advantages, especially for students who take the teaching profession, for example myself, with the MBKM program I can feel how noble the heart of a teacher is, who is always patient with students.
