Hi, I'm siti amalia gumohung, my family used to call me lia. However, my friend calls me amel. here I will tell you about my daily life as a new student at GORONTALO STATE UNIVERSITY and my hometown. Well, I'm a first semester student majoring in English education. and now I am an overseas child for the next few years for my future. I live in a boarding house with my two older sisters.

Every day I still study online, but I really want to learn face to face and meet my friends, even though some of us have already met. I usually finish college and do my homework, make my bed and do other activities.Yes, that's how it is during this pandemic. but that is not a barrier for me to be someone who is successful in the future.

I come from one of the provinces in Indonesia, namely North Sulawesi Province, precisely in North Bolaangang Mongondow Regency, Kaidipang District, Boroko Village. Actually the distance from where I live is not too far from the province of Grontalo. it only takes about 3 hours 20 minutes to get there. and now I miss my hometown, the village where I was born and raised. life in my village is not much different from other villages. there are still rice fields, mountains, beaches and others. the people there are very friendly and kind to everyone.

Talking about my hometown, what I miss the most is the food and the tourist attractions. if in urban areas there are malls where children hang out easily and so on, my place is very different but not boring. My area is close to beaches, hills, and many natural attractions that I may not get in other areas. many also work as fishermen, farmers, civil servants, and some are even gardening employees.

one more thing that I really miss besides the food and tourist attractions there is MY FAMILY.
